Emergency Medicine

The emergency medicine clerkship provides students with procedural practice through a combination of both day and night shifts.

• Approximately 45 hours per week
• Two weekend shifts
• Will be scheduled for both day and night shifts
• 12 shifts total
• Work with multiple attendings
• Practice with procedures (NG tube, IM injection, ABG, etc.)
• Suturing and splinting
