Using Collaboration to Foster Innovation

The University Hospitals and Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) partnership seeks to foster collaboration and grow a culture of innovation, entrepreneurship, and engagement across the organizations by bringing clinicians, scientists, faculty, students, and other stakeholders together. Together, they will identify opportunities to address pressing health care delivery issues and devise solutions for improving medical outcomes.

University Hospitals and NEOMED caregivers, students, and faculty are exploring everything from process improvement strategies to device and drug development to provide timely solutions for challenging health care delivery issues and clinical needs.

The partnership is committed to an aligned and streamlined framework for the ownership and commercialization of intellectual property. The Innovation pillar aims to utilize the strengths and resources of each institution to promote education, research, leadership and faculty development, encouraging relationship development and enhancing the ecosystem of health care providers and scientists striving to improve the overall health of our community.
